Meet Our CEO

Amelia Jackson—who you might know as Milly—is not meant to fit in a box. She is multifaceted, dynamic, and called to shift atmospheres. As a God-fearing woman, natural-born leader, legacy-driven entrepreneur, and trusted community resource (among other things), she embodies purpose in motion. Her passion for productivity is rooted in her alignment with God’s will and vision for her life, and deeply influenced by the strong Black women who raised her—women who fed her spirit with wisdom, resilience, and divine counsel. They prepared her to lead, transform, and influence every space she steps into, whether in the realms of beauty and haircare or professional and social services. Milly is committed to showing up daily with intention, grace, and impact.

Nonetheless - as a product of a single parent household, Milly is heavily influenced by the presence of strong, Black women who have carefully curated her into a fearless leader. These women barely obtained high school diplomas, but their great wisdom and guidance as well as God's grace and mercy is what blessed us with Milly’s greatness! Her circumstances not only shaped her life trajectory, but also shaped her perception as it pushes her to pursue higher means of achievement as she is a graduate of THE University of California, Berkeley AND Fordham University, Graduate School of Social Service with a Master of Science in Social Work.

Milly is blessed with a wide variety of God-given gifts and talents, paired with bold visions and unshakable aspirations. But this particular passion took root during the COVID-19 pandemic—a season where she maximized her multifaceted approach to business. Her work ethic is unmatched and constantly evolving. Her hunger for growth, her commitment to learning, and her refusal to settle for complacency pushed her beyond the limits of "good enough." She realized she had to make a conscious decision: to reject stagnation and step boldly into the greater calling on her life—to do exceedingly and abundantly more. With this conviction in her spirit, Milly literally woke from her sleep—stirred by divine inspiration—and on May 25th, 2020, she launched what would become another powerful business venture.

On that day, the CEO of Minked Mills, Amelia Jackson, had a revelation—and put her faith into action. Guided by Milly’s community-rooted philosophy and relentless drive, she thoughtfully curated every lash style name and personally handpicked each hair vendor. Every product represents someone significant in her life, upholding the same standard of quality Milly wears with pride.
