About Us

Amelia Jackson, formally known as Milly, can not be simplified to one word, at all. She is an all-around educator, community resource, glow-getter, hu$tler, leader, entrepreneur, among many other things. Her passion for productivity is credited to the strong Black women who raised her, teaching her everything about finances, street hustle, common sense, and more! 

As a product of a single parent household, Milly is heavily influenced by the presence of strong, Black women who have carefully curated her into a fearless leader. These women barely obtained high school diplomas, but their great wisdom and guidance as well as God's grace and mercy is what blessed us with Milly’s greatness! Her circumstances not only shaped her life trajectory, but also shaped her perception as it pushes her to pursue higher means of achievement as she is a graduate of THE University of California, Berkeley AND Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service with a Masters in Social Work.

Milly has a wide variety of talents, interests, and aspirations, and it was during the COVID-19 Pandemic where she was able to maximize on her multifaceted business approaches. Her work ethic is phenomenally unmatched and improves daily! Her hunger for staying busy woke her up out of her sleep and led to another great business venture on May 25th, 2020. On this day, the CEO of Beauty by Minked Mills, Amelia Jackson, had an epiphany and got straight to work! Driven by Milly’s community-oriented philosophy and tenacious attitude, she has carefully considered and curated every single lash style name and hand picked the perfect hair vendor to represent a significant person in her life. It is our absolute pleasure to introduce Beauty by Minked Mills, A Girl’s Best Friend, to our Barbie Community. Thank you 10000x for supporting our first official beauty line!
